I frequently see posts where someone is confessing feelings for a friend and asking what they should do. I am almost always in favor of taking a chance to find romance!
I revealed my feelings to a friend and she turned me down but we remained friends. And then about 5 months later, my current girlfriend came into my life. And we've been happy ever since. So maybe it was for the best that my friend turned me down.

I developed a romantic interest in a good friend. For a long time I never told them. When I finally did, it didn't end well.

My first girlfriend was like this and we ended up dating and well now we dont talk anymore so it kinda did ruin a childhood friendship.
Yeah I have. We both did, but then after I blew him we drifted apart. Now we're friends with occasional benefits.
Well, I voted for C here. And yes I did and it did kind of sucked but anyways we are cool now plus I don't feel that way about him anymore.
With my cousin. It couldn't work out because we were related and she was underage but I was happy she let me be her first.
Very nicely drafted poll.
I have fallen into B many many times.
I voted B. Great question!

I revealed but she never wanted to date she just wanted me to be her fuck buddy
& be in the friendzone all because I'm not their type? To hell with that noise.
No, I have never developed a sexual or romantic interest in someone who was already a friend.
I voted E and learned better.
At least you went for it and you won't look back and wonder what might have been.
Well normally I’d agree that going for it is better than wondering, except in this instance I just shouldn’t have.
Hindsight is always 20/20!
So true but Even without hindsight, I should have known better than to flirt with a friend with a girlfriend, also my friend.
Are you now. . . older and wiser? Raise your right hand and I will swear you in! :)

I did in college but I never revealed it in case it ended badly for both of us
I chose last on the list as it was closest, only difference is that it has always been them that has revealed their feelings to me.
No. I didn't stay friend with those I would have feelings. I told them I liked and I started dating
I married her, but then she left.
My condolences!
Meh, that was only strike two. It hurts constantly, but I get to live in my own private Hell. I'm slowly becoming the catman...
I don't want to see any video on the 11 o'clock news! :) :) :)
Its not time for that. Io have 6 kids that I want to see grow up. I just need my meds adjusted again
Usually the other way around.
Yes stuff like that doesn't always work out
Yes, so I decided to stay put and ignore it immediately
The only times i had really interest were with friends of mine. Didn't share the same feelings
