Is being quite shy something you would consider to be a deal breaker?

I'm usually quite shy and nervous when I'm around people I don't know well. I'm an introvert and really value my alone time and am most comfortable when I'm alone. So when I'm around new people I always feel quite uncomfortable and am pretty quiet. But I'm not like that at all around people I know well and trust. I'm actually a really bubbly person.

I never gave it any thought to be honest but in the last few months I became more aware of it since some people approached me and would always ask what's wrong because I'd seem so shy to them.

Would you consider this, I don't know what to call it... personality trait (?) to be a deal breaker?

Nnnope. Not a deal breaker at all. Usually it's more of a challenge, and then is more rewarding than usual when she opens up and choses me as someone to trust.

I do want to see some personality on the surface though to let me know what exactly I'm trying to get at under the shell.

My last girlfriend didn't leave the house for two years. I didn't care how shy she was but it was an issue if she wasn't feeling able to come to me or the other way around. She can avoid everyone as long as she doesn't avoid me.

Yes, if you can't be confident around it'll be hard for me to open up to you. I'd attempt to help you but it won't be the best help. I'm quiet and somewhat shy myself but I have a sweet spot for people who approach me with the utmost confidence. Shy + Shy = deal breaker.

Honestly when someone shy opens up I think it's great knowing they trust you, but it can also a bit awkward when your both shy at first 😂

Nope, im like that myself. One reason i can't get a girlfriend is because i lack the ability and confidence to approach women. Hell in my case id be more likely to go after you because your shy.
