I honestly do not think one person will dictate a _healthy_ relationship...
As it is a relationship between two individuals who each having their own mind andlife experience desires needs interests fears wisdom ethics- which they bring to the relationship- will and should each have their own boundaries which should be communicated and respected to and by each partner, in my opinion 😌

yes and no, it should be a "we set the boundaries" the old closed minded way of thinking are for those that are okay with being ordered around and having no say in where your relationship goes. equality starts within. AS a person boundaries and saying I need time to myself to unwind from a stressful day is a whole other thing
It’s been my personal experience because I’ve been with some of the worst people, that men will keep pushing to dominate the relationship unless women make it too difficult for them. The more insecure a guy is, the more aggressive he will get. I don’t want to be with someone I need to keep putting the boundaries up with. He needs to have the good sense not to put my patience to the test. Good boundaries are something you either have or you don’t.
It should be very equal. Far too often girls get very pushy and demanding. aka happy wife, happy life. But it should not really be that way. You both should be happy and compromise. Men should not set the boundaries of a relationship but neither should women. It is up to both to do it together.
Should? There's no should. A relationship should work for the two people involved, and it doesn't matter who sets the boundaries. What matters is that it allows both people to grow as people.

Both partners do. Women set the pace of the relationship, and men give it the fuel it needs to keep going. Both partners set boundaries though... I think women tend to struggle with setting boundaries, more so than men.
