Some people don't like dogs or cats, or whatever random pet you have. Do you also feel it is the fear of the animal that causes others to request to get rid of the animal or just disgust of the animal?

For me it's on the same level as asking someone to forget children from previous marriage - I think it's unfair for me to ask that, but it's also unfair to ask ME to love them as my own.
Pets are like children in how we must care for them all the time. I can see your way of thinking on this. I've never thought of it in that manner though. To me babies or children are way different than a fuzzy friend, but it's nice to see a different perspective.
Would you said it's a relationship breaker then if you found the person has a pet you don't like?
Animals scare the shit out of me, but I wouldn't tell anyone to give up their pet.
Never. Nor would I give up a pet unless it was a matter of bad allergies. I can’t imagine being with someone who didn’t like animals for that matter.
I would never ask and if someone asked me I'd immediately break up with them. There's zero chance I would ever give up my dogs for any reason.

Nope, it’d be a deal-breaker for me, especially if the pet was there first.
No but I will dump them if I have been with them for a while and their pet is still hostile towards me.
That is true and if they want to proceed with the relationship they should. But the general rule is that pets are similar to owners so..
Some pets may adapt some traits similar to the owner. After volunteering for the local animal shelters though, I have found so many different personalities with the dogs though.
Even the two I have now are vastly different from each other and from my first dog that passed away. I've noticed the spoiled cattle dog I have that came from an old lady is actually more pissy towards people than my other two.
My first dog, Sierra, was a badly abused cattle dog and she was aggressive to people unless I told her to behave. She trusted me and would trust the people I would bring to the house. If you were considered "good" she was the sweetest dog in the world. She was crazy though. If she had to fight bears to protect me she would have fought bears.
My current foster turned adoption is my German Shepherd, Pixie, and she was another badly abused animal who was a breeder dog for 8 years and never let out of her cage. She is afraid of people, she's afraid of leaves rustling, window shades blowing, sudden movements, and all manner of things. She doesn't know how to dog, but she has this innocence to her that is very refreshing. Her smile is very beautiful, and she loves when I talk to her. Very different personalities from each other.
Even their music tastes are different!
If someone asked me to give up any of my animals I would be showing them the door I love my animals my life would feel empty without them so I would never ever give them up
Nope
even if it attacked me, I know I probably bothered them. It's not their fault.
If anyone ever told you that, leave her. It's not worth it
No, I wouldn't. I'm allergic to cats but I wouldn't expect someone to give up their cat.
I would only do that if I had a kid that was involved, and there was some reason that the kid couldn't be near the pet.
No, I like animals. And if someone asked me this, it would be a deal breaker
Never, good boi is best boi
I wouldn't. Unless it was a rat. Lol
Not unless the pet was a danger to my health.
NEVER!
Never would ask
No because I'm sure as hell not giving up mine
Never
