We have been "involved" with each other for almost a year now. He was my rebound from my ex. At first, he wasn't into hooking up with me which hurt my feelings because I was being rejected but when I asked him why he said he wanted to get to know me before sleeping together. I understood this, we started hanging out and so forth. Eventually, we ended up sleeping together. I had an accident and didn't want to see him while I was recovering. He was super sweet about it and understood and we continue talking a few times a week while recovering and he continues to ask me if he could come to see me just to spend time with me and be around me. We briefly saw each other on New Year's Eve. I'm the COO of a company and therefore travel around the states. He is a chef in my home state and currently has a new account in NYC where he was offered a full-time contract. I'm also 8 years younger than him. We were Facetiming and he was telling me how he wanted me to go see him in NYC and that lead to him asking me if I will be willing to move to NYC with him if he takes the job there. I told him that I was offered a project on the other side of the country and that I might take it. He said we can work things out, where I can spend half my time in NYC and be where my projects are for the rest of the time. Make NYC my home with him. I then asked him why me? He said that he has been in love with me since he met me and that he wants us to be exclusive. He also said that he feels that he isn't enough for me.
