Should the guy always be the "emotional leader"?

Been in a relationship for years now. She's been the only one I've ever been with. I find that she bounces of my emotions all the time. For example, if I'm excited... She's excited. If I'm angry... She's angry. Etc.

My issue is that when I happened just to feel sad (no body's fault, just feeling blue), she thinks she's the issue and her only solution is to feel "sadder" which forces me to fake feeling better so that she can stop feeling bad.

I personally feel that what she did there, was a shitty card to play. Perhaps I'm being petty... Since I have not been with any other lady, I can't compare. Do all ladies do this?

- Do you allow you man to be blue?

- If his blue, do you let him be? Or do you just love him a little harder?

Do you believe that the guy should be the emotional leader and just be this brick wall?
