Should I ask my boyfriend to take down his pictures with his ex fiancée from when they were still together a little over 3 years ago?

So my boyfriend was engaged 3 years ago and we’ve been together for 1 year and my family loves him as much as I do. They added him on Facebook and realized all his old pictures with his ex fiancée were still up. They say it’s really rude for those to still be up but I don’t really mind since they haven’t had contact since their breakup and he says he’s completely over her. Should I listen to my family and ask him to delete the old photos or just leave him to do his own thing?

If you are cool with it, then leave him be.

So I was that guy who didn't want to delete my old photos.

I think there might have been a small emotional attachment, despite having moved on 90%. I also believe that history is history. He dated her and they did things, you cannot change it.

Personally now, I would most likely just delete them. Even if there was history there, it's a closed book.

Just tell him, that you got those bad opinions from your family and would like something done with it as you are not able to go back there without them attacking you for it...

He could make them invisible to others or even he could have forgotten that he has them there...
