If you love someone romantically, but not in love with them, does that mean you dont love them?

I just say this cos I'm pretty I love a girl like romantically, I swear we was meant to be together, I feel like she's my soul partner or something, I love everything about her,

But I don't think I'm "in love with her"
I just say this cos I googled the definition of being in love and it said u will think of them all the time, and I don't think of her constantly, so I don't think I'm in love with her, but I definitely love her,

So is it wrong to tell her "I love you"?
Is that a false statement?
Because I told her it once and she said "no u don't"
So do u have to be in love with someone to say u love them?
Is it a false statement for me to tell her I love her? I thought it was true, but everyone seems to disagree and say it's a lie unless your in love with the person?

Love is love in my opinion. I don't define love by how often I think about someone. I love my family and friends, but I don't think about them constantly, unless one of them is sick and I'm concerned about their health.

I never use the term "in love" but that doesn't mean my love is any less strong than those who use the term. It's only a phrase used by some people to describe love.

An older woman I know once told me , she loved her husband but wasn't in love with him. I asked her what she meant by that. She said she means... she loves him, but is no longer sexually attracted to him.

I look at it like if you have sex with a girl one time, and you think you saw all there was to see, do what there is to do, no possibility of being "in love". But let's say you do one time, and you're so excited about the 2nd time, and 3rd, maybe up to 500 times, that is "in love".

She will sit in a rocking chair with you when you grow old. Now you aren't just "in love" but you've inadvertently devoted your whole life's fantasy and goals towards her. Now you are gonna be truly fucked if she breaks up with you.

That's probably all that's important. So keep her. Don't rush things because that is risky even to keep partners. Move smoothly.
