Boyfriend Snapchatting Ex girlfriend?

So the other night I used my bfs phone for something and I opened his Snapchat to send a funny picture and on his best friend list was his ex girlfriend. Yes it was about 8 years ago or so since they have been together and he’s only been with me since, but they have kept in contact. I never suspected him of doing anything suspicious until a few months back when I saw texts from her again nothing incriminating, but I felt a little off about it. Now there are no texts just Snapchat’s which of course disappear. I don’t really know how to approach this I don’t want to start a fight but I’m feeling a little betrayed and I can’t just act like I saw nothing. How should I go about bring this up or is it just silly to do so?
