I really hate texting guys, even my boyfriend- unless the conversation is either funny, interesting, lovey dovey or to make plans. This is why I hate the talking stage 😂 it’s so boring until you get comfortable enough to say anything u want

It's convenient and better than not interacting when we can't see the other person.
And we can sometimes get the emotions through text, but still, it have a big risk in communicating the wrong message

Not for me, I can just flip to them send them a 2 second text and go back to something else
Texting is but one form of communication and it's what we are all doing here 😅 however it's a form and not the best form yet a form that can be used along with talking and being in person

I never understood that either. I prefer to call my partner and talk on the phone. So many things could be misinterpreted through text

You can get to know what their likes and dislikes are but it's more personable talking on the phone or in person.
True, but you can't know if their laugh is cute or annoying. You can't see/learn if their actions match their words. Words are empty without the actions that back them up...
My preference is face to face communication first. Then telephone, as a last resort text. That's just for " I'm going to be late" or something like that.

Don't know. I've never sent nor read a text in my life. I don't see any advantage for it over talking on the phone or sending emails.

Exactly! Calling is more personal, we make time for our job, for social media but not for the prime we're supposed to care about🤔 texting is for short communications not for serious conversations or have the whole relationship by text, what kind of relationship is that really?
