Girls, Would you be okay with your man being a retail manager?

The national average is like 50K a year up to 90K a year. Its all I really know. I've worked retail my whole life. Some might not find it glamorous work but I know what it's about and I really liked it even though I had tough days sometimes. I sometimes had to work 12 hour days but it was mostly 8 hour days where I was. Some places want more hours for more pay. Would you be okay with a husband making 50-60K a year so that he could be home more with you and the kids? Or would you prefer he worked more hours for the money? Would you prefer he didn't work this line of work at all? Ladies please give me some help here.

Sure! Why would I not be okay with my man working as a retail manager? At least he’s working! I’m not that concerned about how much money he makes, I know that some women will only date guys making over six figures, but they are just gold diggers! Seriously, if a woman won’t date a hard working man b/c he doesn’t earn enough money… what would you call it? I totally understand that being with someone who has more ambition than retail is a thing with some girls, but while I would never date a guy who was married to another woman, likewise I would never want to be with a guy who’s married to his job, either!

I mean my thing is that retail is all I knew. I wasn't the best in school. I dont want to list the excuses but I did have a troubled childhood and other things. But I found purpose in my work and understanding. So I want to get my certifications so i can manage a store because i know how retail works and with that familiarity I just kind of started to love it if that makes any sense.

That wouldn't be an issue at all. Why would it be. I don't date or love someone for what they have or don't have, it's more about what/who they are as a person..
If someone only loves someone because of their position, I wonder what would happen to that "love"if they lost that position or could no longer work due to health reasons...

She comes from a better off family and highly trad upbringing. Trying to get dad's approval for one thing. But also a woman might say I lack ambition but really I just liked retail/hospitality work
