Face down phone. Help?

My boyfriend puts his phone face down when where around each other. Doesn't really answer text messages or anything around me. I answer text messages and I have my phone open when we're around each other. He answered a text message yesterday and I thought I saw a bunch of hearts in the text. I couldn't make out what I actually saw. I don't know if I was just overthinking things because I didn't actually see it properly. I don't want to accuse him of anything because I really honestly don't know what I saw. If that makes any sense at all. I know he has a lot of gorgeous female acquaintances. I have a lot of guy friends. So I really don't care if he's friends with girls. I just want him to be honest about it. we live together he's home most nights when he's not working. Not sure what to do about it. Should I just keep an eye out I don't want to check his phone. I don't want to invade his privacy. (I don't even know his password anyway) he knows mine. But I could care less if he goes through my phone. The only thing I'd be embarrassed about is if he looks at my search history. I looked up his exs a couple times 😄

Sounds like a typical cheating scenario but you need to ask questions to find out for sure.

How do I ask without being obvious? I don't want to think I'm accusing him of something because I can't confirm what I saw and I don't want it to come across like I ha e been snooping

You might have to be creative. It would be normal for you to ask, "who was that", if he's innocent he shouldn't have a problem sharing with you who it wás.

Just ask him why he does it and tell him u want him to put ur mind at ease and if he's a good boyfriend he will understand

I say look for other signs of cheating, you can find lots of info online. But yeah, that is suspicious.
