Let's say you share common values with the person that you're with you've been together for a long time and finally decided to get engaged because you're getting older and you want to get married and have a family eventually. Suddenly someone pops into your life that you're very attracted to and also shares common values with you and you feel you might be more attracted to them then your current partner. Would you risk ending that relationship, calling off an engagement to pursue a new relationship with someone else even if you're not completely certain that the relationship with the new person will be long-term?

I feel like you should not get married with that mindset. You do not deserve the person you are with. First off you don’t marry because you are getting older second there will always be someone more attractive, smarter, someone you connect really well with… love is often not a feeling (though it can be) but marriage is work. It’s remembering the promise you made in your vows to work it out.

You really need to look within yourself and come into this marriage with maturity.

Hm I don't know because I've met guys that i knew attraction was mutual and they wouldn't leave their relationships because they would rather be comfortable and unhappy than risk losing what they already have to try something new
