Why is he ignoring me when I’m ignoring him?

my coworker bought me a necklace for my bday and since then he stopped talking to me, we only talk when I hit him up now. But before he would message me good morning/goodnight but after the necklace he just stopped anyway. We’ve been messaging for a long time and still hadn’t hung out yet and 2 days ago I realized that never will, basically I realized he wasn’t gonna make time to hang out with me, he says it’s hard to plan stuff when our schedule aren’t the same but if he really cared about me, it shouldn’t matter. If he has time to hang out with his friends after work he has time to hang out with me. Anyway so on Saturday he said hi to me and I just ignored him the whole shift and then realized that he was kind of ignoring me back, the only time we would talk is to ask each other a question and just yesterday I could tell he was mad but I wasn’t sure why but he still ignored me, and I ignored him too and talked more with my other coworkers, it’s just sad… I don’t understand why he stopped talking to me and is now ignoring me at work when he literally has no reason to. I hadn’t done anything. I’m not even sure if it’s worth it to ask him right now why he ignored me for

Why is he ignoring you… when you ignored him first? Seriously? He said Hi to you and you took it upon yourself to say nothing. He probably feels awkward. That was rude on your part. Two things

1. No one owes you their time. Maybe he prefers to be with his friends
2. Stop being childish. If he speaks you speak back. Since you ignored him first the ball is in your court. You need to apologize and then ask him why he’s ignoring you. Problem solved. We can give you ideas but we can’t answer that for him. Just ask
