About a 1,5 months ago I started seeing this girl. Everything was going well and she looked a lot into me. The past 3 weeks or so she also started coming to my house.
The past week however she started finding some rather silly excuses not to meet. And today we spoke on the phone a bit and she seemed fine. Then I asked her if she wants to meet tomorrow (still on the phone) she said she will see if she has any plans. She then messaged me a bit later saying ''Honestly I don't think what we have is going forward''. I called her right after that, but she didn't wanna speak on the phone (let alone meet each other in person). She kept refusing to speak saying it's difficult for her, and she only wanted to talk via.. texts, on instagram.
I obviously refused to speak over text for something serious like this, and I only told her ''If what we had is not even worth a last call on the phone then let's not even bother talking about it''. I wished her good luck, she did, and that's it.
Thing is, I seriously cannot understand what went wrong. I don't think I did something extraordinary to cause it, and it was so, so unexpected. I had it in the back of my mind the past week but I still got surprised.
I also feel annoyed how she didn't even bother talking to me in person or on the phone, not to apologise or anything, it's her choice, but to at least give a reasoning instead of refusing.
This is more of a vent post and I know I should just move on, and thankfully it was only 1,5 months in. But I still feel bad about it and there is a big ''why, just why?'' to which I will probably never get an answer. It also beats me how she refused to talk on the phone, essentially undermining/disrespecting what we had, to some extent.
