Secret relationships suck. :/

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 15 months. The thing is, we're secretly dating. And, I love him. Or at least I think I do. :/ We've decided to take a break because he "hates worrying if we're gonna get caught and it's not helping his relationship with God." It sucks. He was my first boyfriend, my first love, first kiss. We've talked about our future , marriage, kids. It's cute, but I have no idea if we're gonna get over this. Please help? What do you think we should do?

Well, his dad is one. And, we decided on keeping it a secret from my mom and family. Because we wouldn't be allowed to date. And, I'm not as into religion as he is.

I'm thinking maybe he's very active in church.. We have the same situation with my ex boyfriend before.. We were dating secretly and we were in the same church. He was the bass guitar player during praise and worship and I was teaching little children about God. He was my first boyfriend too and my first kiss. Secret relationships can be tough. We were both young that time and we were very conscious of our actions.. Maybe he thinks that you're becoming a distraction to his spiritual life. If he doesn't want that, maybe you guys should wait for the right time. Plus, church members can be very observant and judgmental when two teenagers are in a relationship and in the same church! I'm praying until now that we'll find our way back again.. But for now, there's nothing I could do but to follow God's will. I hope you do the same xxx

"not helping his relationship with God" is he planning on becoming a priest? Your information is kinda vague, why is this relationship a secret and who's idea was it to keep it a secret? I have a feeling that religion and culture is playing a big piece in this one.

sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but it sounds like you might just have to wait it out til your mom will allow you to date. maybe try talking to her about it.
