How do I stop going through my boyfriends phone all the time?

I can't help myself I forgot to add it in the first question I posted and that's I can't stop going through his phone even infront of him and he even said it's annoying its like I don't trust him I know he's right but I don't know how to help it like I get anxious even nauseous if I don't do that I know how wrong it is but I need help how do I stop this please help I love him and trust him and wanna spend my life with him idfk what to do I'm going crazy than before

This isn't like a hard math problem that you are having difficulty figuring out. You're making the conscious decision and effort to go through his phone.

Most of us bring our past traumas into our new relationships, even when our fears are completely unwarranted. Have you been cheated on or betrayed in the past? Has your current boyfriend given you any reason to not trust him? I think you need to figure out what is compelling you to look through his phone. If it's negative experiences from past relationships AND your current boyfriend has not given you any reasons to distrust him, then explain to him where this all is coming from, apologize, and do everything you can to stop yourself. On the other hand, if you feel the need to look through his phone because of something HE is doing, then that's a whole other issue to address.

Ok my husband used to do this 11 years ago when we first moved in together. He'd look on my fuckin phone and go through my purse.. Totally insecure. I had to put a PIN on my phone and have a long convo w/him b/c that is invasion of privacy!

Yea he explained what was bothering him. His previous g/f cheated on him and we were still in the "honeymoon phase". We didn't know everything about each other. Hostility was still there for him I guess but not me. I just like personal space bc I grew up w/a possessive narc mom! lol
