My first impression of my partner was that he looked like someone I would totally get along with and he looked super sweet. When I first talked to him, my first impression was that he was definitely a gentleman lol.

One lady worked for a business I had to frequent for my job. I was 37 and, as it turned out, she was 31. She was short and had a cute face and hair, but she wore funny clothes that I can only describe as costumes. They looked like old lady clothes with skirt, blouse, jacket, accessories and heels. She had to be sort of stern and business-like because her job was to negotiate. But I got a sense of vulnerability. I asked her out and she turned out to be the most wonderful woman I had ever met. Also, underneath those bulky clothes, she was more beautiful than I imagined - my feminine ideal. I fell deeply in love with her and she loved me. We wound up virtually living together for over a year. Alas, a lifetime together was not meant to be, but I will never forget her or stop loving her.
A couple years after she and I separated, I met my wife through a dating organization. This was in 1994, before computers. Through that organization, I had dated some gorgeous women, but we just didn't click. I met my (future) wife the first time at a restaurant. When I first saw her, I was a bit disappointed. She was very pretty but didn't fit my imagined feminine ideal. She was a bit taller, there was her hair and eye color, and her attire was conservative. But when we sat down and started talking, we totally clicked. Our conversation was effortless and interesting. We continued dating and she turned out to be remarkable.

My first impression was that we seemed to have always known each other forever the first encounter we had. It is still like that. I guess we are twin flames as they are called. It is uncanny how we are with each other. We think the same things at the same time. Say the same thing at the same time. In fact he just texted me asking me what I want for dinner. While he was typing the suggestion for fish and chips, I was texting him asking him how about fish and chips. Our text messages were sent at the same time - we both thought the same thing again. This kind of stuff happens all of the time. We even have asked each other if this is too weird. It almost scared him off at first. Now we are used to it. 💘
When I met her, I thought she was hilarious and incredibly interesting. We clicked on almost everything we talked about. I also thought she was straight.
My first impression of her was way before we ever knew each other or had any interest in each other. She was my sister's friend who came over to spend the night with my sister. Didn't pay any attention to her as she was just one of my sister's friends and about 2 years younger than me (possibly me 16 to 17 and her 14 to 15). Later, when I was 18, I needed a date for an event and my sister suggested that she might consider going with me. That was a strange first date in many ways and she hesitated at the door when I took her home and gave me a quick kiss before going in. We dated occasionally over the next 3 1/2 years before getting married. That was 57 years ago and we are still married and in love. A lifetime of varied experiences (both positive and negative) learning and growing together.
I thought she was a snobby bitch, to be frank. I met her at a picnic and she was wearing a nice spring dress drinking some fancy wine while my friends and I were drinking beers in t-shirts and jeans. She also thought I was a total ass arm wrestling my friends.
Our very first impressions of each other weren't the best. But after talking, much better. We both realized we were so wrong about each other.
I came from poverty with divorced parents although I managed a full scholarship. Yet I didn't learn about class and etiquette. I was a jackass and a stunt guy. My wife was raised in a nice family with family dinners and learned violin, ballet, judo, kendo, how to carry herself... she loved opera and classical music. You know, someone of refined tastes. And I associated those people in my head as pretentious snobs coming from poverty. But she defied all my expectations. She was actually one of least snobby, least judgmental, least superficial women I ever met.
I met my husband after closing down the pub I worked at - went down to get a beer or two before walking home.
I remember walking in & there he stood - telling a story, his voice captivated me and he looked like he had a lot of humor. I wanted to speak to him. So I bought a round of beer for the table & asked if I could join. I ended up doing an all nighter AND worked the day after, laughed so much.
My first impression of my partner was that he was a very kind and gentle person. He always seemed to go out of his way to help others, and he was always willing to lend a listening ear. He was also very witty and clever, and I always enjoyed his company.
My first love— I remember the first time I met him. My best friend’s older brother. I was at her house and he came down the stairs wrapped in a comforter with a thermometer sticking out of his mouth. I thought he was cute. And then he made me laugh more than anyone I had ever met. Not the kind of laugh you see people faking because they find someone attractive. He was hilarious.
I was walking and he stopped me. The first thing I looked at was the car! I loved the car so I stopped to talk for a minute. He was very nice, didn't speak in a stupid slang, so I gave him my number and he called me a month later! That was 12 years ago and we've been married almost 9 years.

I am just focused on making a tone of money and my rate I've never been happier than I am right now. Within 5 years if everything goes well I am expected to have saved up 400,000+ in my bank and I just don't want any distractions right now. I am almost done paying off my car loan and my medical debt.

INTERESTING FACT I got to know that he is my uncle's best friend's son, after 4months of us being together.

I figured that the girl I first met in that "gay" bar would just be another "lesbian", with no clue as to her personality... until she joined my friend and I at a table, and she put her hand on my leg, and later asked me to go outside with her, where she started kissing me. At that point I realized that NOT ALL of the people in a "gay" bar are necessarily "gay"... including me
laid back, observant, he liked to observe and take people in and didn’t talk much even tho he had a very strong personality and presence and cute smile
