Does your partner regularly look through your phone or not?

My girlfriend and I have lots in common 😃

But one of the things we don't have in common is our views on our phones.

I treat my phone as mine and my girlfriend's phone as hers, where as she feels that we should share our phone activities.

We argue a lot as I feel she is snooping and to fussy about my phone 📱 but she feels that looking through a partners phone is a good thing as it means the person trusts the other person. I actually feel the opposite 😜

What's your view?

Who's right or are neither of us correct in our views.

Do you have similar experiences.

Please note: my friend has never looked through my phone without my permission or when I'm unaware!

I did make a few mistakes but we went through therapy and my other half decided to forgive me over my online activity.

I've never had a full affair or physical encounter but I have used webcams and porn. I did lie about the webcams..

During therapy I did actually say it might be a good idea for my girlfriend to move on but she didn't want to as we all make mistakes and 99% of things are really good in the relationship, however since my errors she always worry about what I'm up to.

Think we need our space with our phones from time to time. As long as both partners are respectful with boundaries and honest. Do like the idea of being allowed to ask what an app is if the partner found it interesting like eg: Spider-Man game on the phone. There been times when asked who that or what’s that at times as well. But yeah long doesn’t piss off the partner it’s all good. There been times I wanted to play games like Monopoly app multiplayer but wouldn’t download the game due to worrying about adverts lol.

Girls who insist on invading a males privacy is abusive and controlling.
99% of them are the ones who have shit to hide and are speaking to other guys on snap etc and would consider him checking her phone as a violation.

They want it to be a one way street.

Go through her phone and look through her dm’s, her contact lists for “pizza hut” and other weird contacts that are masks for dudes numbers. Use the search and look for words like “ass, sex, horny, boyfriend, etc”

Check her NOTES app.

look for apps that require passwords to access and have her unlock them. Like the snapchat “eyes only” section.

Guaranteed that there pics of her that were never sent to you, or pics of dicks or dudes that are not you.

Most women have side dick that they flirt with for attention.

Her controlling you is what happens when one is guilty.

She has received messages from many guys. One was from a guy at college who sent her a dick picture, but she did tell him off and she said if he sent another sexual message she would block him. She has also admitted to sex texting in the past. Her and I have made mistakes but I think we are a good couple. It's sad we both need phones haha 🤣 as most of our arguments are about them!

She should not be responding to these guys at all.
They should be insta-blocked.
He even giving them a response is disrespectful to you. It shows them that she is willing to engage with them. She is willing to hold a conversation with them. This is not loyalty.

She has sext’d in the last, She will do it again.
Keep an eye on her phone. When she acts like you are guilty, it’s because she is guilty.

I don't see anything wrong with sharing. In a good relationship there are no secrets. I let my husband check my accounts and my phone.

I think if there was real trust you wouldn’t need to go through each others phones but I also don’t think your phone should be super secretive and hidden cause there should be nothing in there anyway
