Should you inform your partner before booking a trip?

My sister is upset because her boyfriend booked a trip with his friends without telling her. Now she's asking him to cancel, so he's going to lose a lot of money. She asked me for advice but I honestly have no idea who's right and who's wrong in this situation. What do you guys think?

He did something wrong that he booked a trip without telling her but the thing is that your sister can’t force him to cancel his trip it doesn’t make sense let your sister make a group and go on a trip with her friends like you can’t control the other person but he fucked up its fine to tell her like babe im gonna book a trip with my friends for X days going to some places to have some fun

Thats part of being in a relationship, you dont do things without informing the other person. Especially something like planning a trip
