There is no control that you can have over something like severe weather. So, the only thing that you can really do is just be there for her to comfort her. I would not do this if dangerous weather would put both of you at risk.
In that case, she should go to friends or family that are out of harms way and stay with them until the weather has passed. That can be scary for sure. Even if she isn't with you, get her to a safe place and stay in touch.
Reassure her that you are there too and that she is safe wherever she is. Help her make an emergency plan of some sorts and gather supplies that will help in the event of a really bad storm.
Having those types of things, along with a plan, can put a person's mind at ease somewhat, knowing they are prepared if disaster strikes. Other than those things, you cannot cure someone's fears, only show you are there for them and they are not alone.
