It's actually closer to natural evolution than monogamy.
Monogamy is a social construct.
Men are biologically inclined to look for a harem of women, while women look for a strong emotional connection and a single partner that is considered the top of any set of people (hypergamy).
So thruples with one guy and two girls can work and even be healthy weirdly enough.
Other options not so much.
If two men are willing to share a girl she can do better than both, it's harsh but also true.

The one that doesn't bring the third person in has to be very open minded. Typically it's a homosexual relationship that continued when one of the two also had a heterosexual relationship later on. Then, if their partner is open minded enough, they being in their homosexual partner and it's a throuple. Its usually with two girls. The girls and guys all have interest in each other.
Occasionally someone loves to people equally heterosexually and they know it and are okay with it. I remember a guy who was quarantining with his girlfriend and her other boyfriend in a two bedroom apartment. It worked for them because she could choose who she slept (sleep) with every night so the relationships didn't sour. This type is typically woth two guys and the tie is only thr girl, the guys don't really have interest in each other.
All women, were really good at consent and communication and there’s usually no worries about pregnancy.
I have to admit that there are aspects of polyamory that are appealing.

I think if 3 people equally love each other and no one is treated like a “third” then it may be possible.
i don’t think the sex matters... could be mfm, fmf, mmm, fff.
after trying a threesome, we can all say we all loved each other sexually... but could we make it work in a relationship, I have no idea! If people get this to work for them then I say go for it!Its honestly easier to have 2 girlfriends more than one. 2 girls 1 man works out great. Assuming you can sufficiently provide to their needs, time effort sex etc.
More than one man means you're getting deficent broken bottom barrel men. So those situations are not ideal. It's probably three times as hard to get working as a regular relationship. Since the relationship needs to work between all three or it will break apart. So I wouldn't expect any hard bonds in the relationship.
Not sure what the point of the photos is, but yeah, throuples are valid so long as it's ethical nonmomogamy. There's no one right way to do it, but there are definitely wrong ways. Polyamory is ok, cheating is not. Open communication and respect boundaries.
I'm not interested in them in any way, shape or form.
And if you are to normalize it as a relationship model, why stop there? Why limit yourself to two?I have a husband and a girlfriend, and that works for me.
The wife and I are in the stag/vixen lifestyle. She has two regular bulls. She enjoys the variety of different penis. Doesn't work for everyone, but it works for us.
A lot of jealousy and if you're having sex... Gross. I don't want to have my thing where another man had his. I think a lot of women are the same way. You see it a lot in porn but that degenerate shit is not real life
Disgusting and pathetic. A narcissist and two simps/simpettes.
If it works for people and they all get on, then nothing wrong with it.
