exactly, like I have two male roommates that i'm literally besties with, and it's like having two brothers. I would say that I feel safer with them as well, but I don't think that has to do with gender. I have a girl roommate too, but she never talks to us lmao
yes literally people dont understand lol
Not an issue there at all I don't think. I would say some boundaries should be set is all. But I don't see the issue. I would be okay living with my best friend. She's the only person I think I could live in the same house with. I struggle with people as a whole and she's more like family to me then my own family.
How is it that you are 17 years old and have lived with your male friend for the past three years?
im studying abroad. Everyone has to stay with their friends in the program
For three years? I thought that study-abroad programs all lasted just one year.
And wouldn't you be living with a family that has school-age kids, and not with a single male?
basically im an excahnge student for highschool and no u can choose how long u’re gonna stay. Also the place we’re staying is an apartment connected to school and all students staying here.
I have never had an opposite-sex roommate unless there was also some romantic involvement. I guess it would be okay but I like to walk around the house in my underwear and that might bother some girls.
Not weird.
I prefer female roommates as I love "girl talk" and like walking around the house naked. The only thing I was afraid of was moose and bears.

Nothing wrong with it and it is normalised here.
Myself would probably find it hard not developing a crush on her though, I get limerence quickly.
Not weird. Maybe nerve racking knowing some guy could be a total creep... but I don't mind it
I could do it. But I only fall in love with my friends. I would approach him if I was single.
That’s really cool! Hopefully it stays positive! Most people don’t have as good of an experience.
It's not a bad thing, mostly if that person can make cookies
It's normal... if there's sexual tension there though I guess it could get weird.
I don’t really find it weird. I guess it just depends on the situation.
I could see it being somewhat awkward, but it doesn't have to be anything crazy.
only a matter of time until he rails you. unless he's gay
he didn't rail me for 3 years. he's not gay. Not all guys do that.
well u’re wrong apparently lol
I rather enjoyed it. Kept a nice balance. Plus, she stayed on our butts to keep the place clean.
I would not tolerate my SO living with a man.
It's great if it works for you
Only if one of you makes it weird.
No thanks.
read ur question wrong, YES its weird
why?
str8 men dont roomate females
only gay men do it
and why don't you feel safe around yorúr own gender?
there are a lot of burglary from where i live so a guy can protect better
so what does he do when u have boyfriends or fuck friends around? let me guess hide like most beta males do
bro wtf? this is so funny. He basically goes out because he has respect and i do the same for him.
I don’t see a problem
yeah its fine
