exactly, like I have two male roommates that i'm literally besties with, and it's like having two brothers. I would say that I feel safer with them as well, but I don't think that has to do with gender. I have a girl roommate too, but she never talks to us lmao

Not an issue there at all I don't think. I would say some boundaries should be set is all. But I don't see the issue. I would be okay living with my best friend. She's the only person I think I could live in the same house with. I struggle with people as a whole and she's more like family to me then my own family.
How is it that you are 17 years old and have lived with your male friend for the past three years?
Not weird.
I prefer female roommates as I love "girl talk" and like walking around the house naked. The only thing I was afraid of was moose and bears.

Nothing wrong with it and it is normalised here.
Myself would probably find it hard not developing a crush on her though, I get limerence quickly.
Not weird. Maybe nerve racking knowing some guy could be a total creep... but I don't mind it
I could do it. But I only fall in love with my friends. I would approach him if I was single.

It's not a bad thing, mostly if that person can make cookies
It's normal... if there's sexual tension there though I guess it could get weird.
I don’t really find it weird. I guess it just depends on the situation.
I could see it being somewhat awkward, but it doesn't have to be anything crazy.
only a matter of time until he rails you. unless he's gay
I rather enjoyed it. Kept a nice balance. Plus, she stayed on our butts to keep the place clean.
I would not tolerate my SO living with a man.
It's great if it works for you
Only if one of you makes it weird.
No thanks.
