For instance if you're stuck with a bad or controlling person, they can bring out the worst in you. Suddenly you can become a nasty person too; total opposite of how you were raised like. In some cases where it has gone too far, it can even make you hate your partner and think of getting back at him/her.

However, if your partner is a great person then you can even be motivated to work on some of your flaws and better yourself... bringing the best in you. If you were already a decent person then you keep that and don't change.

Overall, can they actually influenced you so much that your personality even varies?

For instance if you're in a relationship with a confessed scammer, all of the sudden you become a scammer too... even though you've never in your life scammed people.

I don't know, I mean I think about the girls I've spoken too, I don't think their behavior made me more like them, I see it more as their presence affected my behavior in a way, like I'd be more confident braver more loud funnier around them, but no I don't think I've ever turned more like the girl herself😂😂 that'd be weird, I also find that I get along more with girls who have polarity with my personality than those who are more like me, or maybe it's a girl thing? Like a girl is more likely to get affected by the guy's behavior? If for example she's usually of doing crazy shit then he takes her hand and jumps off a fuckin cliff she'd be different because she enjoyed that experience? That's a very simple example compared to the intense examples you gave but maybe has the same premise?

For instance if you're in a relationship with a decent woman, while you don't have to become like a her but feel more confident than you were before, maybe feel there is more aspirations in life, establish more challenges and goals for yourself, etc. While doing on that, you're unaware that she could've played a role on your new motivations.
