There's ALWAYS A REASON. But if your friend won't tell you, you'll never know.

You can spend lots of time stressing about it, or you can make peace with it and text her and ask her what's up. Send an email. Snail mail a letter saying how much you value her friendship and how much you've enjoyed knowing her. Then ask her if there's a certain reason this has come to pass.

My feeling is that she won't say anything, but will remain ghosted. BUT YOUR CONSCIENCE IS CLEAR. You've thanked her for her friendship, told her how much she's meant to you and mentioned how much you'll miss her

That's all you can do. Grieve and eventually you'll be feeling good enough to get back on the friendship train. Give yourself time to regroup and put her in your past.

There's not much worse than being dumped with NO explanation. If you need to think through or recount any signs, you might try. Or make a list of how you meshed and where you didn't. This might satisfy you more.

You can either try to initiate a dialogue with them, ask them what was up and why they dumped you, or just try and ask them to help you clear the air so you know what was going on. Or, alternatively celebrate. You have had someone leave your life that apparently did not give one half of one shit about you, and that is a good thing. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life, and you don't need someone who doesn't give a shit about you as a friend.
