I met my best friend in October last year when I started my new job. She's so much fun to be around and is such a sweet, kind friend to me.

We were both put on different training programs at work. On my training program I met this guy. I was really shy and nervous around him at first but then I found out he had a girlfriend and my feelings kinda left the room when I believed nothing was gonna happen between us.

We become really good friends and we started hanging out at work together and sometimes my work bestie would join. She'd always say how cute he was and if he was single she'd totally get in there with him. I told her I liked him too but for the sake of a healthy working relationship Id never go there.

Then a month ago Q tells me after 3 years him and his girlfriend have broken up. I didn't really know how to react so i quickly said how sorry I was and changed the subject.

I told my best friend and she said "omg he's so fit I'm gonna DM him" she asked after if I was okay with it and I said yes like a idoit.

They started talking over text but he wasn't showing much romantic interested with her. She kept telling me she was unsure if he liked her and that she wanted my help to set them up as I'm closer to him.

We planned to go for work drinks with a couple of work friends, Q was coming too.

My friend was super nervous and kept drinking to point I had to get her a taxi home before midnight.

Once she was gone me and Q were the only ones left in the bar. I asked him about my best friend and if he liked her. He said "I'm I really that hard to read" I didn't know what he meant.

He seemed really nervous and anxious all a sudden, then he told me he broke up with his girlfriend because he's been in love with me for the past year. Felt really sick inside and didn't know wether to run or kiss him.

We talked it through and I told him I had feelings too. He ended making a move on me but I said I needed to talk to my friend first before we start anything.

I think I really love him too or I'm starting to fall for him. He said he fell for me before we had even started talking to each other and that's the whole reason he put himself on the training program to get to know me better. Him and his girlfriend were having relationship problems way before I came along.

I was really surprised but I've never had a man go that far for me before
