Several months ago I was talking to my boyfriend and I mentioned I always miss this particular band when they’re in town. He then surprised me with tickets for the show in my hometown. (This was about 7 months ago). Then the day before the show he tells me he has bad news. His daughter wanted to go see them and he told her he would take her and I wouldn’t be able to go. He explained that he’s building this relationship with her and he felt this would be a priceless moment to bond with her. I said okay and didn’t react at all. I went and bought tickets for myself and my kids so I’ll be going anyways. However I’m pissed off. Am I the jerk for being mad?
