I know a young man that has learning disabilities, and goes to an adult program during the week. Lately the guys are calling him a queer. What to do?

One guy keeps saying hi to him all day and he feels he is being harassed. The others call him a queer a lot. It has been reported to the people in charge, but they aren't doing anything about it.

I know him personally and he is in no way gay. He loves the women and has always liked girls.

But I also know if someone keeps bugging him like that, he is going to physically lash out on them to make them stop. Then he will be in trouble and could get kicked out of the program

Does anyone know what we can do to stop this before it gets worse?

Ignore them! They are doing it to GET a reaction out of him! If they get one, they've won! Then, they'll take it to the next step! Bullies are QUITE insecure so they bully others they think are easy targets to make THEMSELVES feel superior!! Another option is to throw it back in their face! If they call him a fag, he can say, "Give us a kiss!" and even chase after them like he really wants a kiss and that might make them stay away from him. Or, use humour to toss it right back at them. They cal him a fag, he asks, "Do you have any naked pictures of yourself?" They'll, most likely, say they don't. He follows up with, "Would you like to buy some?"

He could say, "Let's play Pearl Harbour! I'll be Pearl Harbour, you can be the Japanese and come swooping in and blow the hell out of me!"

Or, they call him a fag and he just says, "Blow me. No, really, I want you to blow me!", and, like with the kissing, keep chasing them around asking for a blow job.

Just have fun with it!

My handicapped nephew quit going to one of these adult learning programs for a similar reason. He simply refused to go back.

Have you considered enlisting the aid of an attractive young woman who can pose as his girlfriend and pick him up from the program one day?

His parent/parents need to make an appointment with the Principle and "demand" action.
