How do I accept that I'm not happy with my wife and will never be?

Same... my kid turns 18 and I find a way to GTFO, I'm going ASAP. Her leverage will be gone (the kid) and she's been the one working about to start receiving retirement pay, so she can't take all my shit like most women do.

She's cheated, talks too damn much, lets her hygiene go when she's not going out without me, and she's getting fatter and fatter while I'm hitting the weights and knocking out cardio. She can't cook, not only can't clean but makes the mess that I have to clean, and she's spending money as if we're not about to get raped financially in Biden's economy.

Find an escape plan and stick to the plan. I'd rather live a life where I can grab a beer in the morning and not have to hear bullshit about it for 30 minutes from someone that doesn't even come near to my fitness level.

Marriage is about sacrifice. there's some things that I've tried to communicate to my wife for YEARS but she won't change. It took an affair for her to realize oh shit, my husbands not happy... only then did she start listening and changing.

Women often complain men are shitty listeners. But women are pretty shitty listeners too, especially when complacent or lazy.

Have you told her this? The fact that you're married to someone you're no longer happy with will only lead to problems later on if you don't address them now.

You can try counseling, therapy, and talking out your feelings, but ultimately if you're unhappy with her and the marriage, it's better to end things than drag out an unhappy marriage (while I am not a fan of divorce, I rather y'all end things than stay with someone that you're no longer in love with and lead them on).

If you aren’t happy with her and feel you never will be you got to let her go man , Ask yourself will you be ok knowing she isn’t going to be on your life anymore? You going to be ok seeing her with another guy? If you are feeling like you are forcing yourself to be with her because you are married that is not a reason to stay with someone you aren’t happy with especially if you are already doing bad things behind her back
