Stop putting yourself down. You are far from ugly. I think you are beautiful. Girls probably see you as competition so they don't like talking with you.
Thank you, me? Beautiful? Hahaha that’s a funny joke. I’m not entirely sure but I feel like girls my age are not like that. They sit with me and they try to give me a chance but when I talk about stuff they just get annoyed and look at me like I’m weird.

Regarding update you are the type of woman I would have dated when I was in school. You're level headed, down to earth and not hung up on yourself. You have a great personality except you keep putting yourself down. Everyone thinks you are pretty so embrace it.

I am the exact opposite. I am a guy and find it so much easier to talk to women. I asked a coworker how was your weekend and he grunted at me and said "fine". I asked a female coworker how her weekend was and she said I had to take my cat to the vet and my car broke down.

I don't have any sympathy for you. You think you're ugly, but there's guys out there that will think an average woman like you is attractive. Anden are easier to talk to because men have a variety of things to talk about and dont get bored. She's married and has 2 kids, had to divorce the asshole and has had 3 steady boyfriend's since then!! She also had this goofy notion that could never get a guy!! As far as I know, she's had at least 9 guys romantically interested in her, 10, if you count me but, she said she wasn't interested so, I never bothered to try. We've been best friends ever since I met her in college 20 years ago.

She pretty much HAD to get a divorce! He was a MAJOR asshole and, eventually, she discovered that he'd been abusing and molesting the kids!! As far as I know, he's still rotting in jail over that one!! I warned her about him time and time again!! She SAID she was leaving him and then he said something to her on the phone and, a week later, she said she couldn't ever talk to me again!! His orders!! A few weeks later I find out they're getting married!! She kept telling me that she didn't want to leave him because she didn't want to be alone and she felt that if she left him, she'd never get another guy (he was her second) and, if she did, he'd be much worse so, she might as well just stick with what she's got! She put up with his controlling shit for about 3 years and finally kicked his ass out!!
After not being allowed to talk to her for 18 months, I no longer gave a shit about him and sent her an e-mail to at least wish her a merry Christmas and let her know that I'm NOT at ALL mad at her and would still love to be friends with her. I sent the e-mail Christmas eve and got a nice long e-mail from her Christmas day (the best present I ever got!!) and she told me about all the stuff she'd been doing and going through up to that point and said she didn't CARE what he said, I can write to her any time I like!! So, I wrote her back about all I'VE been doing and dealing with and she wrote back two days later saying that he's stirring shit and won't let her talk to me!! At least I KNOW it's not HER telling me not to write to her!! So, I waited a while and, about a year later, she wrote back saying she left him and wants to be friends, again.
I don't know how she gets on with girls but, at the moment, as of last week, her biggest struggle with girls was with her daughter who just attempted an over-dose!! She'll be 15 in 4 months. She WAS having a lot of trouble with her son but, she says he seems to have straightened himself out a lot, recently. He'll be 17 in 4 months. I told her that I'd put it all down to bad genes because of their father! I think she should just get them a set of drums to get their aggressions out on!

So am I!! However, she's having trouble with the guy she's now with, too. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, he just does things that get on her nerves A LOT! He also teats her son very badly, at least verbally, not physically. She's about to drop HIM like a bad habit, too!
Yes, it IS quite nice except that, ever since I lost her, she's ALWAYS been too busy to do much of anything with me! Before he took her away from me, we talked almost every night for HOURS on end! However, outside of the classroom, I've only seen her 4 or 5 times. We WERE supposed to try writing music together and maybe record together but, the day she was supposed to come over to do that is the day he said whatever it was on the phone and made her stop talking to me. It'd be quite nice if she'd at least come over once a month to play cards, or something, for a few hours!
Well, she says they caught her time and she' didn't die but, she's seeing a shrink now, for a while. Her dad was a real work of art!! He could've actually been arrested for, what's it called when a guy meets a girl online and he lies to her about his age so he can entice her for sexual reasons? That's what he did! She is from Conn. and he lived here in Pa.. They met 9nlline when she was 16 and he told her he was something like 20 or 23 but he was really more like 35!! He talked her into coming here to be with him, so, she did, as soon as she graduated high school. That's how I met her, we had a music class together in college. Apparently, I look just like her oldest brother whom she cherished very much! And, she & I are both passionate about music so, we got on great, together.
When she first got here about 3 months before I met her, he refused to come help her move in so, the guy in the next apartment helped her and then he raped her!! When she finally told her boyfriend about that, he accused her of cheating on him with the rapist!! He also accused me of having sex with her when the MOST I ever did with her was accidentally kiss her on top of her head!!
After the divorce, she got the kids but he got them on weekends. So, she'd get them ready to go over to his place and, they were wearing nice new clothes that she just bought them and he'd send them back 2 days later wearing rags!! She'd never see their good clothes again!! I suppose he'd throw them in the garbage, or something. Eventually, the kids told her about how he was molesting them, too!! They were only between 3 and 7 years old, at the time.
Poor children and mother. She has a nice friend like you that has helped her. Sharing a passion for music with someone you feel such a deep connection, honestly. He accused her of cheating with a rapist? That is horrible. I feel for her. I’m sure that you will be friends again soon, don’t worry

We ARE still good friends it's just that, ever since he took her away from me, she's always been too busy! Either dealing with him, the kids, at least one or two jobs (I don't know that he could work because she said he was disabled. He was working up high on some wires on a scaffold and fell off and got partially paralyzed), and, ever since he was tossed into jail, she's been dealing with her boyfriends.(the first guy looked like she was gonna marry him but something just didn't gel, I think the next one said or did something that wasn't very nice so she dropped him and now this one, like I said, is kinda torturing her son. At least I was proven right in that, those three WEREN'T as bad as the hubby!! I think we'd be a good fit except that I'm about 2' taller than her and about out of her age range so, I never even bothered! The time I kissed her on the head, I'd just broken up with my ex-fiance and forgot who it was I was kissing. I was so used to doing it with the ex, I kissed her by mistake but IMMEDIATELY apologized to her but, she just said, "It's alright", so, we just continued listening to music!
