Are there other deal-breakers just as bad as abuse or cheating?

Obviously most people will leave a relationship for those two reasons but are there things just as bad too?

For instance I just read about a post about some girl thinking it was funny lying to others as a joke that her boyfriend beat her. Then another it was about a man pranking a marriage proposal. Other story was about a boyfriend stealing his girlfriend's money. That sounds just as bad too.

Do they really have to betray you infidelity to considered it one of the most selfish ways to break someone's heart? They can do other bad things without it having anything to do with infidelity or abuse.

Yes, here is my list:

1. Not listening or acting as if you would, so you play tricks on her, but you truly forgot everything she said.

2. Not keeping a promise. You promise because you think it will go well but when the day comes, you are just lazy and think like: "Meeeh !! Yeah I was promising that I'd... but meeh not feeling today. Will do next to time. She must forgot it anyway, soooo...".

Wrong. You are busted.

3. Not giving her space and freedom she needs. Let her talk to other dudes and have fun with guy friends, girl friends or whatever. She will be more comfortable with you, as weird as it might sound

There are for some people. For example here on GAG, there has been a lot of people who said they'd divorce their spouse if they came to them saying they wanted to try certain fetishes or things, such as a threesome.

They would divorce them for even suggesting something like that.

Deal breakers totally depends on the people involved though, they do however exist.

They aren't all the same though, what is a deal breaker for one person, may not be for someone else.

For me, it is about honesty. I give them all a chance to come clean about everything on a free pass day, and if something comes up later that they didn't bring up that day. Broken trust forever and might as well end things now unless they have a damn good reason why it didn't come up before that makes sense. If they do they might get a one time pass but trust is still damaged.

I think the examples you gave are a form of abuse, emotional abuse not physical but still abusive. To me, infidelity is also in the category of emotional abuse. I think physical abuse is the top of the list and then the rest of it is a spectrum of emotional abuse which can be super severe or less severe depending what it is. I don't think there is anything else that is as bad as those but there could be other reasons people break up, like just not being compatible or not enjoying the same things, where nobody is at fault it just doesn't work out.

I just caught this before I went to bed. People that lie and cheat have something inside them that is broken. If you trust such a person knowing they are cheats and liars, well (sigh) your an idiot! They can steal things. I remember listening to a man say his mother swears one of his girlfriends stole money from her. this is why I don't allow them in my home. I won't eat at the same table with them.

- Scamming you with money and never paying it back

It's basically anything that's done deliberately and destroys trust. I think those examples mentioned are emotional abuse.

There's lots of things that can be dealbreakers.
Plus it's a very subjective term, people have different dealbreakers based on the kind of relationship they want and the preferences they have for a choice of partner.

Those are not deal breakers because women would not date those types of men if they were. That's are the only types of guys I see women dating, and then the woman lies to herself and thinks the guy actually cares about her.
