I have a guy that I met at my old job that told me he wants to meet up sometime. But right now I've been really busy with school and also personal stuff, but I wanted to ask him if he'd talk to me over the phone sometimes until we can hang out. Would you be willing to do that with a girl friend? Or is that lame?

Yeah, I talk to my girlfriend on the phone frequently. Just don't let it turn into a pen pal relationship or be the main way of spending time together if you are trying to date.

Talking on the phone is awesome. Not a problem. Wouldn't want it for a long term thing, but good while a person gets things going.
