Jealous female or him?

I have this guy friend I’ve been talking to for almost a year now we only hung out a few times but there’s this other girl that he hangs out with as well and is also a coworker of his I honestly think it’s jealousy but I feel like she’s trying to ruin our friendship I don’t get to see him because we don’t live in the same area but she feels weird of us hanging out and she knew that I use to like him so she tells him it’s best that if she doesn’t hang out with guys than he shouldn’t hang out with girls (that’s what I heard from him) and they’re not even dating and it pisses me off he said it’s “for respect” she knows what I look like and honestly I don’t even know if I should be friends with this guy if some girl is gonna be ruining it if he cared about our friendship he would think the same no? How it’s kinda messed up?

If them two are friends it shouldn't matter if he hangs out with other females or she hangs out with male and saying he will respect her discussion? I kind of see if they were friends a long time and she had a crush on him but she a coworker and how she seen you before if she saying all of this then she might be jealous

He says with any female alone but I know it towards me cause he hangs out with her most of the time and he hung out with me before alone and he told her the time we hung out and she got weird about it
