It sounds like he just wants to have fun with you while he can and while he's still nearby. He doesn't want an emotional attachment and is trying to make it so its easier for both of you to let go. If that isn't something you want, then you should reevaluation your relationship
I know you're in love with him. But you need a relationship where you can be happy long term. How's that possible here when he doesn't even want your love?
