I've been dating a guy for a few months now, we're totally on our way to a serious relationship but we're taking things easy. He lives a bit far from the city in a nearby town, due to the distance and the demands of our jobs we can hardly see each other in person, however we keep in touch by messages and calls. He's had a particularly hard month at work (besides graduating from college) and I've been thinking about what to give him but I don't want to seem intense or demanding (because we're not officially dating yet, even though he says yes), I thought that give him a candy kit (you know, the kind you tell him to eat these "anti-stress" chocolates), a shirt (black, because it's his favorite color), two beers and funko or something like that (sorry, I don't know what they're called ) of an anime character that he likes a lot. Is it a good gift idea or is it too much or too little?

It sounds like you've put a lot of thought into the gift and have chosen items that are meaningful and thoughtful based on your boyfriend's interests and preferences. The gift you've described seems thoughtful and appropriate for the stage of your relationship.
Giving a gift can be a way to show your partner that you care and are thinking of them, particularly during a difficult time. It's important to remember that the value of a gift is not necessarily determined by its cost or extravagance, but rather by the thought and effort that went into choosing it.
If you're unsure about the gift, you could consider asking your boyfriend if he would be comfortable with receiving a gift at this stage of your relationship. This can help to ensure that you're both on the same page and that the gift is received in the spirit in which it was intended.
Overall, it sounds like a thoughtful and appropriate gift, and I'm sure your boyfriend will appreciate the effort and care you put into choosing it. Also, remember this saying: It's the thought behind the gift, not the gift itself, that truly matters.
Id think thats a sweet idea. The key to gift giving is to present something that has meaning. Shows you remember and listen to whats important to him.
Which is why i hate receiving gift cards. Like, yay, Im so excited to go to olive garden...
