Do you think no matter how smart you are, someone could still cheat on you behind your back?

So, for a lot of people... When they're seeing someone and they tell them their last relationship ended because the other person cheated on them... They instantly think " um... why didn't you see that coming? There's always signs "... And then start seeing that person as stupid and naive and that they choose people poorly... They totally lose respect for them... realistically tho... That's kinda unfair... It seems like no matter how smart, intelligent and high maintenance you are... Someone could still play you... cheaters can be really cold and they know how to put an act... And it takes literally a few hours when they're away from you to do their thing... also in this time and age with smartphones and stuff... They can share everything and have like another full relationship with someone behind your back lol... What do you think?

Oh yeah, I even have a higher IQ than most girls I've dated. If someone is going to cheat, they are going to cheat. Some girls can't even say no to sex with other guys. Kissing I can handle, but sex, hell no.

Even if I would have seen the signs and told the next girl I saw the signs, she would just figure out some other clever way to get away with it. Girls always say guys cheat. Guys always say girls cheat. It goes both ways.

Some cheater are good at lying and manipulate you, so its hard to find they cheat on you, unless you found some evidence.
Maybe they will cheat on you when you re away from home, so how can you see it?
Its not that the victim is stupid, its that the cheater is good at it.
I think people who critizes the victims, should be more understanding because being cheated is very hard and the person suffer a lot.
