Did u meet your soulmates or someone that ressemble you a lot?

Normally im not someone who belive in such things and i never thinking about it unless a few days. I meet a man who resemble me that its really really confusing. He has almost the same personnality as me, he even likes the same hobbies, he likes the same thing as me, he is afraid the same thing as me. I even feel a strange link between us, like we know each other and like i can talk without any limit. I know how he feel, he know how i feel, we cheer the other one, we respect each other. We feel so at ease when we talk that its strange. There is even really strange hasard, like your respectively mothers have the same first name, we did even the same studies.
So i know reading it like this seem stupid, like a teenager but did u ever feel something or meet someone like that? That so strange for me, its so confusing. And i dont think he is lying. Just so you know, i have already been in a relationship and it wasn't the same as what i feel now.
So here are my questions:

I also have a big yearning for him. We already talk for hours, everyday and i dont feel any boredom. And i begin to think that im already in his grasp, like i can't go away even if i wanted to... So strange.

I met someone who I would have considered my twin-flame, but not my soulmate. It was a unique connection unlike any other I had ever experienced. I felt like I had known them my entire life. Despite the intense connection, I knew deep down that we weren't meant to be together. While we had a deep connection and shared many qualities, it was clear that we weren't compatible in the long-term. We had different life paths and our goals were not aligned. Despite the intense connection, I knew that it was best to move on and find someone who could truly be my soulmate. I ended the relationship and we went our separate ways. I was sad to see it end, but I knew it was for the best. I learned a valuable lesson about the importance of finding someone who has the same goals and values as I do. I realized that in order for a relationship to work, both people need to be on the same page when it comes to the direction of their life. Otherwise, disagreements and misunderstandings can arise that can make it difficult to stay together. Compromise is important, but ultimately, if two people's goals are too different, it can be impossible to make things work. Compromise is important, but if one person wants to hike to the top of Mt. Everest and the other wants to lay in a hammock all day, things might not work out!

I despise the term soul mate. But yes I met a woman that was almost my mirror image in so many ways. And almost 30 years. Later it's uncanny how much we're still that way.

No. I've known her for 30 years. We've never been together. She asked me out 30 years. Ago and I was too young and stupid to say yes.

Yep. And it's amazing how alike we still are. Because we haven't been in touch that entire time. We've both grown and gotten older and changed but it's like we've followed the same life plan. It just makes me wonder of see saw that about me all along. She's an amazing woman.
