Should I be mad or not?

My boyfriend hasn't talked with me about decisions that he makes he just makes a decision and does it. We live together and sometimes when I get home he's gone and I have to do the whole calling him to figure out where he is. Most of the time he's gone to be at his sister's house for work and all week while he's over there he barely talks on the phone I have to drag conversation out of him. Just today I had to go to the hospital because my blood pressure was 180/133 and I have severe neck pain from a previous work injury, he took me then when we got out we went home and slept for 3 hours I wake up and he's telling me he's going to stay all week at his sister's because she is having surgery tomorrow I had no idea that he was even gonna stay with her until I woke up and his mom was at our door I asked him are you coming back this weekend he said maybe it pissed me off so bad do I have a right to be mad? He even took his dog so I think he's gonna be gone until his sister recovers even though she has a husband that can take care of her.

I think its a bit rude for sure , if just boyfriend / girlfriend , but you are sharing a house , so a little more thought and planning would be nice for sure.

I've learned he's just close with his family and I shouldn't be mad but I need to tell him it bothers me.

I told him how I felt today. He's mad and won't come home I am heartbroken but if he can't understand I don't know what to do

He said the reason he hasn't been talking to me much is because he saw something on TV that reminded him of his dad and that he was sad. his dad died in March this year and I've been there for him but he's been rude and acting like he doesn't care about me

Well , you need to shit down face to face and have a serious conversation , made some notes , keep your temper and stay calm the entire time.
