Should this make me mad? I told my boyfriend how I felt about it yesterday and he kept assuring me that it was nothing and that he will never respond to a woman in any way to make her feel as though she has a chance with him.
Unfortunately, due to me being sensitive and will admit very insecure, we started arguing in which I do admit was my fault.
The thing is my boyfriend has a pretty large platform as he's a gospel artist and does ministry. With that being the case, it wouldn't be uncommon for women to comment on his posts and things like that.
I really don't want to mess this up with him due to me being self conscious. This man is adamant on marrying me and he treats me like I'm his entire world. He goes out of his way to check on me, we talk everyday and all day while he's in and out of work, we're always on the phone together, he's always motivating me, he prays for me before I go to sleep and he compliments me like I've never been complimented before.
So he makes it very clear how much he loves me and to be honest I've not seen him do one questionable thing nor has he done anything to make me question him.
However, my paranoia comes from the trauma of my past relationships, including last recent one where I was being cheated on and abused nonstop. So I will admit that that definitely messed me up. I feel horrible though because I'm madly in love with this man but I just can't seem to shake what happened in the past so that I can be in a healthy relationship with him. I feel like a horrible person.
What do you guys think? Am i overreacting, and girls would you be upset if women commented things like this on your man's pictures?
