Guys, would you require a girlfriend to keep her haircut and weight to your standards during the relationship?

my current boyfriend makes subtle comments about that he loves my current weight and wouldn't be as in love with me if it changed keep in mind he wants to have babies with me in the future. He also says he likes my short hair but occasionally comments on girls with long hair and than asks me to grow it out. I work hard to maintain my appearance but should I have to keep things to his standard.

No, I wouldn't. This is not nice. I think partners should try to maintain their appearance, but things change. Him saying this is not a good sign - you don't want to be with someone who's love is so conditional.

Somehow when we first started dating, I said something to my wife about liking women in skirts. I don't remember how it came up, because I would never have said that as a criticism or demand. Maybe she asked -- I wish I remembered, but I didn't. She went shopping.
