I dont believe so. I met people who were mean 10 years ago and still they r. I met people who were selfish and still they r. I met also kind selfless people who still the same. They grew cautious because they got burned because of their kindness though they still never changed if you get close to them. I believe that circumstances make people cover Some traits they had. But once they r allowed to be their oldsc self they will be. Old habits die hard i think
Yes, and I think a lot of that change comes with maturing and the lessons learned along the way. Of course there will still be those who keep negative traits, never really growing or bettering themselves. But many grow out of toxic ways and become a better person. I’ve been pleased to witness it myself.

They can try to change their behavior, and they might be able to, but i dont think people ever completely change. They’re gonna have to keep “trying” and keeping self discipline. It won't be easy for sure.
People are always changing, but not necessarily in the ways you want them to. You can't change people, but they can choose to do things differently and tackle different sorts of goals for their own reasons. It's their life to live.
Change requires discomfort and people generally do everything they can to avoid discomfort. When they don't or can't avoid discomfort, change occurs. And people fail to avoid discomfort pretty regularly.
