Would you trust your partner in a long distance relationship?

My boyfriend has to leave the country we are living right now soon. He has yo ho back to his country next week, so we have to do long distance relationship maybe about 5 months. We were never apart for long. But he said he is going to prepare everything there, and after everything is ready (house, company. etc) then he will come back to take me with him.

I have trust issues because my past before met him, about my ex.

Sure because I consider the relationship I'm in right now long distance because even though we live in the same city we're on opposite sides but I trust him 100% because we've known each other since I was like 11 years old and he would never do anything to hurt me
