Do people realise impact of pregnancy on boys?

I am talking about teen pregnancy. If a boy gets a girl pregnant he will either have to take care of the kid with his partner or pay child support for most of his life.

In case he decides to stay, how is he in a better position than the girl who gets to keep the kid and money?

I feel so many people only care about the girl.

Generally, people don't care about boys much- and about men, barely at all. Ever hear of Shane Seyer? He was sued in 1993 for child support and found liable to make payments, which was a problem, because he wasn't allowed to work in the US. Because he was an illegal immigrant? No, because he was twelve. Colleen Hermesmann had been his babysitter, the two had had sex, and she'd gotten pregnant. She'd chosen to keep the baby, and he, having never had any choice in the matter, had to pay fifty bucks a month, which his parents paid, since he of course had no way of making it.

You may be wondering why Colleen would be so stupid as to sue a child for child support; obviously, he couldn't pay, and the money she'd spend on legal fees would outstrip anything she might get if she did win. Well, she wasn't; the suit was filed on her behalf by the state of Kansas (where they lived), because they wanted their share of the money. But that's just one backwards state, right? Yes- but eighteen others created laws doing exactly the same thing in the aftermath.

You'll often hear Feminists bemoaning states of affairs in female rape victims are forced to carry their babies to term, having no choice in the matter, and how that's a sign that reproductive rights are an absolute necessity for women; you'll never hear one arguing that men should have a say in their own familial futures, too.

As a simpler course of action, look through media reports that pop up when a female teacher is caught in a sexual relationship with one of her male students. You can read or listen to all the sources you want, and you will never hear it called "rape". It's "an affair", "a fling", "a relationship", or "a romp" (they LOVE that one, for some reason); never rape. Now, I will grant that there's a need to distinguish between would-be consensual sexual activity that doesn't meet that legal standard for some reason (which is still bad, but less so) and leaping out of the darkness to attack somebody, but that's really another issue; this is STILL an abuse of power and STILL illegal- and if the genders are reversed, the guy will not only openly be called a rapist, but will be lucky to live to see trial.

Teens are more than capable of having a job or even multiple jobs to pay for their child. My husband did it so I know it's possible

You've got that 100% wrong. A guy may have to take care of his kid, but he has no responsibility to take care of their "baby mama." Not from a "moral" part, or legally.

my baby's dad left me during pregnancy (im 29) so not a teen but he has never met my child who is almost 2

But I guess I'm lucky because we get along and work together to take care of the baby. I don't have to pay child support, but I also have a job and help to support my son. But so does she, so it's not like I'm the only one.

The only difference is that they don't have to give birth and that difference does make it easier.

If you want to defend boys/men, there are some actual men's issues you could talk about, this isn't one of them.
