I don't think it's pathetic but to me it's just another day on the calendar man. But I also get their side to it you know if your already with a girl you can use that day as an excuse to go the extra mile for her if you want to, there ain't nothing wrong with that.

But I don't see a point in rushing to be with someone before a certain day, that day isn't going to change the outcome of the relationship or anything *shrugs* Just love her everyday with the same effort people have on valentines day.
