I don't know - other than trying my best to keep a level head. If we were living together, I think I would want a friend who I trust to be at the apartment when she's packing up. I think I would automatically not want to be in the same place as her... just to make sure I don't lose my cool.

I would want to do something creative, if I had money. Billboards. Etc. But I would absolutely need proof - not a doubt in my mind. If there was any doubt, I think I'd just have to be low key about it. If I had a good relationship with her parents, I'd probably call them up to let them know. Probably some anonymous phone calls, or maybe a few copies of the proof sent to some mutual friends. Probably same with friends. Let them all know hopefully before she starts lying to cover up her behavior.

Considering if we were living together, it'd probably be in marriage, I think I'd consult a couple of Lawyers. I would also get tested for STD's, just to be on the safe side. If we had kids involved... I don't know. The laws are stacked against good men. Emotionally, I might have to room with a friend, though honestly, I don't know if I'd have a friend who was that close. I would probably want to get a divorce, even if it was hell. I don't know if I could trust someone after that enough to stay.

I suspect that's the case for anyone who has been cheated on to be so shocked. Yet with my wife and me, we've gotten along so well for our entire marriage of 14 years, we shower each other with love and affection daily, never fight, appear to share pretty much everything on our minds very freely.

So that's just so weird. My brain can't process it. I've had exes before where we fought and sometimes started to grow apart emotionally, and I could imagine being cheated on in those cases.

I my case the relationships ended the day I found out.

When I found out they were cheating they were out of my life the same day, there was nothing they could say in mitigation, I cut every contact point they had for me, Phone, Email, Social Media, even told any 'friends' we had in common not to contact me about them, and any passwords they'd seen me used were changed that day

Anything they'd left at my apartment was boxed up and left with the doorman (he was told they were no longer welcome) if they showed up.
