What would you do if you caught your partner cheating?

So hear me out. I wouldn't confront him on his cheating or reveal that I know he cheated.

Instead I would be a bi***, I'd dump him and tell him I was leaving him because he couldn't satisfy me in bed anymore and I've found someone with a bigger you know what. I would imagine that would destroy their self confidence and make them insecure forever. Rather than making him feel like a stud or a prize worth fighting over, it reduces him to something more insignificant. What do you think? ☺

Someone I was dating cheated on me. I told her we were done on the spot. I tried to warn her about the dude too. She called me less than 2 weeks later crying that I was right all along. Apparently everything played out exactly the way I told her it would.

The she met up with me when some friends and I rented a cabin in the mountains to celebrate someone's bday.

We had a lot of sex on that trip. She was single at this point. She asked if we could get back together again and I told her she needs to live her life some more before I could even think about that.

Then she started dating this guy who looked a little like me only he was a total bum. He kept trying to rub it in my face that he was dating her now and I wasn't. Which was still mildly annoying.

Then I tried to warn her about this guy, she said I was jealous and the only reason I never cheated was because I wouldn't have been able to. She brought up this girl we're friends with who is a lesbian and she said that I wanted to "fuck her so bad" but couldn't accept what she was or whatever. Only this girl had been practically begging me to fuck her for over a year. So we went to her house with some friends, when it became obvious that she was trying to get everyone out so that we could bang, my ex invited herself to stay.

We all slept in the lesbians bed that night with me in the middle. When I woke up, my ex was whispering in my ear that she wanted me to call out of work and get a room with her.

At this point, I was still physically attracted to this girl. I didn't see her as a romantic partner, but I still saw her as a friend and I figured it wasn't such a bad way to distance her from this other guy.

But then a few weeks later he did something to her, I got really pissed off because now I'm thinking about how betrayed I felt and how could she not see my value and what was she seeing in this dude. Am I stupid for being so forgiving and still caring about this person? So I did something mean to her which may or may not have started a domino effect of stuff that ended with her in a dui rehab.

I learned a lot from this experience but possibly the most important thing was that love is blind. We went from being best friends to the most toxic relationship I've ever had; romantic or platonic.

I was so blinded by the good qualities I saw in her and the fact that she wanted to work on herself as much as I wanted to work on myself that I became blind to anything negative. I became detached from my own instincts and blocked out any negative thoughts about our relationship.

Okay that all sounds good on paper this would be my thought for you to do if this is the case yes there's many guys out there with probably bigger dicks than him but do they know how to use it
You could rub it in his face all you wanted but that's not going to face him he's going to think you're just doing it to get even with him and that is the truth

So what you do is you be honest about it and not fake like him and not a cheater or a liar like him you'd be real about it you keep it to yourself

Eventually you'll see each other and he will ask how are you doing and you will say beautiful fantastic I am never been never been so happy in my life and he will say well why is that well because first of all he's a real man he's unbelievably the best man that I've ever had in bed he's big he knows how to use it and he takes me to a world that nobody has ever taken me to before but anyway enough about me

And say well it was nice seeing you again I got to go I got to meet him for lunch or whatever the last thing in the world you want to do is boast belittle him about anything because you're just doing it to get back at him f*** that you don't need to get even with him or back at him if you want to get even or get back with him he has to do it with the truth with little words and let him see that happiness because he sees the happiness he's going to know he f***** up

I just left him. I cried, kicked him out of our shared room, and two weeks later I'd found a new place.

It was hilarous, I ended up getting revenge in a roundabout way because I ran into his boss and he hadn't told her I'd dumped him. He hadn't told anyone. She asked if everything was ok because he seemed off at work and was late frequently.

I gave her a big smile, explained I'd dumped him because he cheated on me and outed that he cheated with a woman who also worked in their organization.

The look on her face was priceless. It must've eventually made it back that she and he cheated, because the side bitch even contacted me later to try to propose a friendship. (? Your guess is as good as mine, she was ridiculous)

I rejected her, told her to be a better wife for the husband who'd graciously taken her back, and told her I wanted nothing to do with someone as pathetic, disgusting, and worthless as her.

I kinda regret not reaching out to her husband, but from what I hear he had the support he needed.

I would sit him down for a serious conversation and try to understand why he did it. It wouldn’t change anything, I would still leave him even if he had a “good” reason (not that there ever IS a good reason), but it would give me some clarity to know why he did it. And then I would tell him he’s got a few days to move his things out of the house and leave. I wouldn’t lash out at him, as that never makes things better, I’d just accept it for what it is and still treat him like a person. I’ve been cheated on enough in previous relationships to know that calmly handling it is the best way. Personally, anyway.

I'm married so I would ignore it and pretend I don't know or "forgive her" if I caught her.

I'd do what my older brother did when it happened to him with the advice my father give him and mine and my other brother's support.

He consulted a divorce lawyer secretly. He started over a period of 3 years to put into cash large parts of savings and wages and leaving it in the care of our father. He sold property to my father putting cars etc in his name. He encouraged his wife to take a big promotion at work and reduced his hours at work and became the primary care giver to their kids. he took out loans, ran up credit card debts and with his wife started to dip into their joint account.

When the time came he had his wife served with divorce papers when she was with her lover at a motel. He had the locks changed in their family home which he had sold to our father for cash and conned his wife into believing it was so they could have the inheritance then instead of later.

So when the dust settled after the divorce he ended up with full custody of the kids and she has to pay child support, she has to pay him alimony, he owns the family home, he had tens of thousands in cash and he has moved on with a younger woman. His ex wife has put on serious beef and isn't very happy, he had to get a restraining order and her kids lost respect for her because of the cheating.

Almost everyone says if someone cheats then there is a reason they cheated. I don’t agree but let’s say they are right. Wouldn’t you want to know why he cheated on you? Was it some short coming on your part? If that all is true then you’ll never find out unless you talk to him about the cheating.

Like I said in the beginning, I don’t agree with that. I think cheating is part of human nature. We may not like it but it is. Women cheat because their primitive brain wants to mate with the biggest, strongest, healthiest male. Their normal brain wants someone who can provide for them.

I think that this type of action will only make you seem like a petty individual and will not make the cheater feel as bad as you want him to.

Personally I believe the best action would be to calmly confront your partner on his cheating, then immediately cut ties and walk away - and this will not only make you seem as strong and confident individual, but it will make the cheater suffer more since you will become the one who got away.

Sorry but I would not screw around like that, If I found that my partner was cheating I'd be gone the next day, bags packed out the door, all passwords changed to bank accounts, social media, credit locked etc. The Relationship is DONE.

If married I'd see multiple lawyers the same day to cut down the number of lawyer she can access, pick one of the lawyers and have divorce papers drawn up and served that day. No discussion needed, They'd be left to deal with the house/apartment/utilities without my financial input.

I'd move to a hotel until I could find an house/apartment of my own, there would be no contact with her, I'd contact my family ASAP so they'd know what was going on, before changing my phone SIM and Email and going dark, and I'd give my employer the heads up what's going on so they can block the partner from the company's office.
