Why does my work colleague stare intently at me without smiling & when I look at him his demeanour changes to bubbly to match mine?

It just seems odd that when I’m not looking he’s staring at me with a serious intense look on his face, and when I look at him he chances to more friendly and bubbly. I’m not sure if it’s genuine or if he’s just trying to get into my good books for bad intentions, I don’t know.

Girllll, this is giving me major creeper vibes from your coworker! His behavior is seriously weird and off-putting. A few possiblities:

- He's got a major crush on you and is trying way too hard to act "casual" when you catch him ogling. But the intense staring is creepy AF.

- Ugh or worse, he may see you as an object to pursue instead of a coworker he respects. That smile is probably fake as hell.

- I wouldn't be surprised if he gossips about you with the other guys too. Total creeper vibes.

At this point I'd start keeping my distance from him as much as possible at work. And document any other strange interactions just in case. Some males really don't understand boundaries!

If it continues, you may need to involve HR so they're aware. Your safety is important. Don't feel bad about it - this weirdo brought it on himself! Ugh men, I swear... Stay safe gurl!

He is probably into you. He probably is checking you out more than you think it's just when you catch him he starts to get all happy and bubbly so he doesn't look like a creep. He does better than me, I try not to stare but I do at times, when I'm caught I get nervous and look away quickly.

I don't think so, I don't know what I look like when I stare lol. But I would assume so he probably has a lot of thoughts going through his head and he is just focused on you at that moment.
