I reported him for yelling during an argument (then he broke up and blocked me afterwards), was that overdone?

It was during an argument about expenses and lost of sparks. He raised his voice at some point, scared me and I reported him, thinking he was going to hit (never did though) me or something.

They got our versions and it got solved because it was the same story. No one was hurt and I think I overreacted with reporting him for just yelling. They even sounded disappointed to have to have to come for that. The relationship is over by now. He doesn't want to speak to me again and has blocked me. Did I overdo it?

Yes. You NEVER invite the government into your life unless it's the MOST EXTREME circumstances. Do you not understand that you could BOTH be in jail right now? That kind of thing happens ALL THE TIME.

in my opinion, you need to grow up and act like an adult and take responsibility for YOURELF, and your choices. And you need to realize that the government (including all branches of it, including the police) are NOT your friend, because there are political motives controlling them, and logic and reason have nothing to do with these political policies and practices. Plus, you really had nothing to report.

Finally, any man who did not immediately end his relationship with you and cut you off forever the moment you called the police on him is not a man. If you did that to me, we would never speak again.

Yes it has been going south for a while. I wasn't too much head over heels by then. I think that's the way I didn't fight to win him back when he broke up. I replied with an ''ok, fine''.

Whats sad here is most women scream and yell at their boyfriends or husband's and nothing ever happens to them.. Yet the moment he does it, it's abuse.

Yeah you over reacted, especially if he doesn't have a history of hitting you. The act of you reporting him can cost him jobs, his ability to own a gun, rent a home, and so on.

I'd have done the same, left you and blocked you on everything..
