In your mind, do you still refer to a certain person of the past as “the one that got away” if you’re happily in a relationship with someone else?

I still think about guys I once liked but only in a non romantic and sisterly positive way. My philosophy is that if a guy is no longer a boyfriend, he becomes a permanent brother that I always want happy and healthy in their new lives but I never go on dates with them.

Nah, I used to think that until that guy hit me up again. I now realize no one is perfect and they are only good in our own head, not in reality. Once you can let go of the fantasy you can get over it.
