Should I end it with him cause he seems too submissive and passive?

We’ve only texted, but his passiveness really bothers me. I’d like to feel like I’m the submissive one in the relationship or at the very least on equal footing. I want to be with a guy that can take charge, but he wants me to teach him things all the time, etc. I feel like I get nothing from him.

I like him otherwise, but would this affect our relationship in the long run? I don’t have experience so it’s hard to tell.

Yes. Chances are he won’t change if he’s been that way for a long time. You’re eventually going to start to resent him. Maybe you already do. But women usually don’t love a man they can’t respect. You don’t have much respect for him at all really as a man cause in your eyes he isn’t a man, at least not the type you’re seeking. More than likely you will be the masculine one in this relationship. Which isn’t goi g to work because women who are masculine usually aren’t at their happiest as they would be if they were feminine.

I do sort of resent him already just because he seems great otherwise. Well, except for the fact that he also seems to completely lack any desire to see my body and dirty talk. That also sucks cuz I’m having to do it on my own.

Damn that sucks. If I was him I’d be happily talking dirty to you lol yes I think you need to find a man who fits what you’re looking for. Eventually you’re going to get tired of him because everything will most likely fall on you decision wise.

I understand wanting the man to be in charge I'm not judging that I understand it completely. But you are just texting? Because it's possible his texts are coming off submissive when he is not, I have done that before honestly. Sometimes being polite comes off that way in a text. Also what does he want you to teach him?

He was sort of role-playing me teaching him art, which would be fine if he’d ever act like he liked to teach me anything. He also seemed to be into the idea of calling me teacher and being “punished” on Teacher’s Day.

We were talking about our favorite drinks and I said I like fruity drinks and he said he usually just says “make it a double” of whatever someone else is getting. He himself has said he’s indecisive and “a kid at heart.” I just want more of leader that is decisive and has conviction.

Well I will give you the teacher part that is weird honestly. And yes he should be able to pick his own drink. Those I get but the rest is not things that make him submissive. And most men are kids at heart that is just a fact, we really are not as mature as women sorry.

Well you definitely don't want to be doing all the work, at the end of the day it is your choice to make if you feel like it's not going to work then don't continue. You are just going to hurt both of you staying if you are not happy with it.
